Camper Registration start JANUARY 5 for House In The Wood at Northwestern Settlement, 1012 N Noble, Chicago, Illinois.

To register, follow these easy steps:

1. Contact Lilliane Webb at 1-773-969-5579 or lwebb@nush.org for an appointment. Lilliane has taken Nathan Puckett's place as Recruitment Manager. 
2. Go to Northwestern Settlement at 1012 N Noble, Chicago, Illinois to choose your session, fill out your paperwork and get your parent manual.
3. And that's it! 

Fees are the same as last year. Scholarships are on a first come basis.

Position Opening-RECRUITMENT MANAGER

We are looking for a RECRUITMENT MANAGER for a full time year around position with benefits. The Recruitment Manager has an office at Northwestern Settlement, 1012 N Noble, Chicago, Illinois for about 7 months of the year. The office moves to House In the Wood, Delavan, Wisconsin during Rowe Outdoor Ed Programs (about 6-8 weeks during Fall, Winter, and Spring) and during Summer Camp June through August. Housing and food are available while working at House In the Wood however on site residency is not required. Some travel around the city of Chicago required. Hours will exceed a 40 hour work week depending on projects or season.

Responsibilities are:

• Recruit and register campers for summer camp. Responsible for "filling" summer camp. Provide on site administrative support for summer camp. 
• House In The Wood liaison for Rowe Elementary School Outdoor Ed Programs. Provides on site administrative support during Rowe sessions.
• Year around communication with all participants in our programs.
• Represent House In The Wood in Chicago.

We are looking for:

• Ability to relate to parents, children and co-workers.
• Above average computer skills.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet goals with minimal supervision.
• Experience with office environment, resident camp and children preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Children Camp (ages 7-12) and LIT-Challenge Leader (ages 13-14) & Senior Leader

Session 3-Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 26 (two weeks)

• Children Camp (ages 7-12) and LIT-Junior Leader (age 15)

Session 4-Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 9 (two weeks)

• Children Camp (ages 7-12) and LIT-Senior Leader (ages 16-17)

Session 5-Monday, August 12 to Friday, August 16 (one week)

• Northwestern Settlement Summer Adventure Camp

Session 6-Friday, August 16 to Monday, August 19 (extended weekend)

• Family Camp

Session 7-Monday, August 19 to Thursday, August 22 (four days)

• Mini Camp--Specialized Camp (we are still planning this one..stay tuned!)
